Program Management

The first stage of a successful project is the planning stage, this stage will determine how we will execute work throughout the life cycle of the project. We help our clients identify critical aspects of the project and develop step-by-step processes to achieve our goals. Some of the main points that are addressed in this section are Project Timelines, Project Budgets, Design Partners, Vendor Selection, Permit Requirements, Site Selection, and all other items that are critical to a project’s success or failure. 

The success of a project is determined by the quality of your execution plan, the communication between the team, and the proactive approach that is taken to eliminate problems prior to them occurring. Our teams’ experience provides our clients with the expertise to meet their project goals while minimizing their frustrations through this process.

Project Management

Many of our clients have successful stage gating processes/procedures for executing projects, but at times they don’t have the personnel required to manage these projects. Our Project Managers provide the experience and the discipline to utilize a specific stage-gate methodology to walk a project through the design phase, into construction, and the turnover of the facility. We have the ability to manage your requirements or implement our proven method for execution. 

The Project Manager will track the project budget, schedule, scope, and quality while handling all external coordination. We will provide weekly and monthly reports that are formatted per our clients’ requests.

Pre-construction Services

Verifying the accuracy of the client’s assumptions on a project is crucial to the success of that project. The Preconstruction phase allows our team to develop schedules and budgets for the execution of the work while collaborating with the design team. During this phase, we will perform constructability reviews that will allow us to properly phase the work to minimize cost-impacting items, schedule delays, and potential phasing requirements for the progression of the project.

During the conceptual phase of the project, we are able to provide our clients with the order of magnitude estimates and milestone schedules. As the design progresses we can assist with vendor/subcontractor selection for the project. This involves qualification verification for the vendors/subcontractors, bid manual development, bid analysis, and award recommendations. At the end of this process, our clients will be able to enter into a contract to execute their project for a set price and time duration.

Owners Representative

Many of our clients have projects where all they need is someone to manage the work in the field and provide reports for status updates. They want/need a construction expert to push their project because they are bogged down with the requirements of their everyday jobs.  We provide our clients with seasoned construction professionals that can be their eyes and ears on a job site. Our professionals treat every project as if it were their own and provide a standard process/approach for executing the work to meet the project goals. We are able to fill positions for project managers or superintendents depending on the project requirements and the client’s needs.

At-Risk Construction Management

In performing an At-Risk Approach, the client is only required to write one contract to Arclight Contractors for all items associated with the project execution. This eliminates excess paperwork and coordination that our clients have using multiple vendors and subcontractors throughout the duration of the project. Our team will provide the personnel, infrastructure, insurance, site safety, and experience needed to execute the project on time and within budget. We have contracting options that can allow the client to lock in their project cost at an early stage of design while minimizing their risk for change orders during the project execution.

Safety Representative

Job site safety is of the utmost importance to any project. Planning for a safe project and then implementing those plans can mean the difference between an accident-free project and a project that has many incidences that can lead to someone getting hurt. We can provide safety representatives that can help create a safety plan for the execution of the project that will incorporate OSHA requirements, your site or company requirements, and the requirements of Arclight Contractors.
